Burnt Fingers

So.....I'd forgotten how much I hate hot glue.  My poor fingers are very sore. I worked on a project today for our upstairs bathroom because it is about the saddest bathroom ever.  It's all white and has no decorations. So I decided to find some stuff I already had and re-purpose it.  I cut up one of my favorite cloth napkins for this project.  I mean who actually uses cloth napkins? Not me. So why the heck did I buy them? Because I though they were purdy. :)  I'll post the full project later, maybe Saturday.  I'm pretty excited about it. :)

Love me through this....

This is my first attempt at real blogging.  Ima need y'all to love me through it. It's going to be rough sometimes.  There WILL be errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling,  but do the best I can.  I decided to start a blog because, well, all the cool kids are doing it.  That's not the real reason.  I've been reading a TON of crafting blogs lately and I have been inspired to be creative.  I also got a Silhouette machine for Christmas. :)  I've done a few projects already, but didn't document them. oops. 


I also love a good bargain.  I love to go to thrift stores and find those diamonds in the rough.  I didn't include thrifting in my title, because I didn't want to mess with the alliteration. 


My father-in-law has a booth at a flea market and finds so many awesome things.  I'm looking forward to posting some of the re-do's of things he's given me.  Specifically an old yellow dresser.  Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against yellow, but this thing is sad.  

I've always loved to cook, and at one point wanted to go to culinary school.  That didn't quite pan out, but I still love to create recipes and tweak the recipes of others.   


I know I'll also post some of my own ramblings or the happenings in my life.   


And last but not least this cat will document some of the shenanigans (get your brooms! sorry, it's a south park reference) of my cats.  I'll also post their cuteness on occasion.
